Setting an employee up for success sometimes requires us to create an employee action plan, or what we term a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). The goal of a PIP is to establish immediate expectations and feedback based on specific areas of concern. Areas that are identified as action steps are reviewed, at first weekly, and then monthly to facilitate getting the team member back on track. Use this tool to develop your areas of action - they are based on the core values and role descriptions of the employee team member.
