The Development of a Marketing Plan and Campaign Planning

The company marketing plan is tying together all the elements of the marketing strategy and aligning them so a company can reach its goals. While we set up a budget based on financial considerations, we also need to incorporate the sales goals and our desired mix (what we sell in each business segment) to have a definite idea of leads we need to make those sales goals. This is known as a lead forecast.
